Catamaran Klein Curacao Trip

Hop aboard the Catamaran and be whisked away from bustling Jan Thiel to enchanting Klein Curaçao - a true pearl in the Caribbean Sea. An untouched paradise awaits you here, with crystal clear waters that sparkle like diamonds and a beach as white as sugar. Once you arrive, you'll have plenty of time to explore the island, laze on the beach or even have a dance on the deck of the catamaran while enjoying the sun.

When Klein Curaçao rises out of the deep blue, it's like stepping into a postcard. The sand is so white it almost glistens, the palm trees gently sway in the breeze and the water is so clear you can see the bottom. Leave your worries behind and embrace this piece of paradise.

Take a walk along the shoreline, visit the lighthouse for that perfect Instagram shot and don't forget to enjoy the delicious barbecue lunch we have prepared for you. After dinner, dive into the refreshing water for an encounter with the friendly sea turtles swimming curiously around the catamaran.

By the time we raise the sails for the return voyage around 3 p.m., you will be fully recharged and ready to enjoy our legendary Captain's Happy Hour. As the sun slowly sets and music plays on the deck, toast to a day of adventure and unforgettable moments at sea.

Frequently Asked Questions

I tend to get seasick, but can I still go along?

During the windy season (January to July), the ocean can sometimes be quite wild, which can affect people who get seasick easily on the way to Klein Curaçao. Fortunately, the way back is usually a lot calmer, as we sail with the waves. But if you are prone to seasickness, there are a few tricks you can try. For example, eat a light meal about an hour before departure, skip alcohol and caffeine, stay well hydrated and breathe in the fresh air as you stare at the horizon from the net or hull of the catamaran. And if you do get seasick, know that our experienced and caring staff will do everything they can to help you and make you feel as comfortable as possible.

How long does it take to sail to Klein Curaçao?

It depends on Mother Nature, but on average the catamaran takes about 1 hour and 45 minutes.

What should I bring?

Bring your towel, sunscreen and everything you need to protect yourself from the sun: sunglasses, hat, cap and a swim shirt. The sun can be quite bright on the island, and except for a few huts, there is not much shade to be found.

How long is the hike to the wreck and lighthouse?

It takes about between 20 and 30 minutes. Put on your flip-flops or sneakers, grease yourself well with sunscreen, and don't forget to bring a cap or something else to protect yourself from the bright sun. As the day progresses, it can get quite warm inland.

Does Klein Curaçao have toilets?

No, unfortunately there are no toilets on the island itself. But no worries, our catamarans have two marine toilets on board for your convenience!
